About Me

Janine McDaid — Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Janine McDaid

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy awarded by PCI College and the University of Middlesex. I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) and have extensive experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues.

As a mother of four, I bring both professional training and lived experience into my work. This has deepened my empathy, patience, and understanding of the challenges individuals and families can face.

I am deeply passionate about my role as a counsellor and psychotherapist and I aim to offer a safe, compassionate, empathetic and confidential space where you can feel heard, supported and understood.

Sessions are available both in-person in Donegal and online.
